Sewn by Vedder started in February of 2017 at the dinner table in a small apartment in Edegem, Belgium. After two moves to different cities, gaining a much bigger atelier, and creating many projects throughout the years, Sewn by Vedder is still the same at its core. Everything is designed, thought out, sewn and shipped by Mandy. With more experience than before and with ever evolving techniques, Mandy never tires of working with needle and thread. Most inspiration is found in old movies, fairy tales and art.
Sewn by Vedder prides itself for creating garments that won’t be found in any other shop. Not a single garment is reproduced or replicated. Although fabrics and notions might be sourced from all over the world, the production of the garments happen in Belgium. Honest work, honest prices.
Because every garment is a unique piece, Sewn by Vedder does not follow the typical sizing methods you may find in your regular shop. As most of us already know, sizing amongst brands is hardly ever consistent, sometimes even within the brand itself. Sewn by Vedder doesn’t believe in naming something a size “medium” or “large”, as every body is a lovely body and deserves a well-fitting garment of its own. Most pieces feature adjustable qualities, such as lace-up closures or elasticated straps, making them suitable for a range of body shapes.
